Follow these simple steps to get your music onto the platform.

If you are a record label or recording owner working with a publisher, or songwriter participating in the MCPS x MAIA pilot, please see our dedicated MCPS x MAIA Pilot Program section below for submission steps and details.
Steps to onboard your music
1. Sign an agreement
We need a signed agreement with you before we can add your music. Choose the link below that applies to you and fill in your details:
Independent artists: Please use the Onboarding form for record labels
2. Fill out the Music Ingestion Master-sheet (MIM)
After your agreement is signed, we will email you our Music Ingestion Master-sheet (MIM).
Please fill out both the LABELS and PUBLISHERS tabs with as much detail as possible. More details make it easier for us to license your tracks.
Key information you need to provide:
Audio file links: Links to your music files (we strongly recommend including instrumental versions)
Lyrics: Full text of your track lyrics
ISRC codes: Unique identifiers for your recordings
Songwriter details: Names and IPI numbers
Ownership splits: Songwriting percentages
Release date: Official release date for each track

3. Send back your completed MIM
Once you complete your MIM, reply to the email you received and attach your sheet.

4. Activate your account and set preferences
When we finish adding your music catalog to the platform, you will receive an account activation email.
Click the link in your activation email to create your MAIA Universe account.
Set your preferred pricing, licensing restrictions, and approval policies for your tracks.
MCPS x MAIA Pilot Program

The MCPS x MAIA pilot is a dedicated collaboration designed to enhance sync licensing services and grow revenue opportunities for MCPS members. You can read more about the MCPS initiative on mpaonline.
How to submit your music
Complete your label agreement using our Onboarding form for record labels.
We will send a Music Ingestion Master-sheet (MIM). Fill out your with your track details.
Email your completed sheet to

Your sync settings and control
Matching MCPS settings: We can automatically set your initial sync preferences to match standard MCPS rules to save you time.
Full control: You keep full ownership and control over your recordings and sync settings. You can change your pricing, restrictions, and approval policies at any time in your dashboard.

Leaving the MCPS pilot
If you as a record label or recording owner do not wish to continue after the 12-month pilot period:

We will instantly deactivate and remove your catalog from the platform.
